Atrio Tower Project

The north tower is of mixed use, has 44 floors and 2 service platforms for a total of 202 meters high with a total area close to 78,000m², has a platform of public space and communal areas, in addition to 5 basement levels . The design includes a 30-meter high atrium, as well as a metal structure with diagonal braces that, in addition to providing a very particular architectural expression, are part of the system of resistance to lateral loads generated by wind or earthquakes.

As an integral part of the project, additional structures are being installed to cover the terraces surrounding the tower, consisting of two-storey buildings designed with exposed steel structures, conceived within the concept of metallic architecture.

Atrium was designed by the renowned urban architects firm Rogers Stirk Harbor + Partners in conjunction with the Colombian firm El Taller de Mazzanti. The construction was responsibility of the AED Consortium: EllisDon (Canada), Arpro (Colombia) and the steel structure was in charge of the HST Consortium: HB Sadelec (Colombia), Supermetal (Canada), Tecmo S.A.
